provide direct, quality business and contract procurement
Assistance that contributes to the growth and stability of
Ohio's underutilized businesses with emphasis in minority
and small at risk businesses.

ABOUT
THE PROGRAM.
Portsmouth
Inner City Development Corporation's (PIDC) Minority Business
Assistance Program is part of nine local networks operating
in the State of Ohio to help entrepreneurs foster business
opportunities. The program is funded through the Ohio Department
of Development, Office of Minority Business Affairs and provides
management, technical, financial and contractual opportunities
to the minority business community. The Minority Contractors
Business Assistance Program (MCBAP) also works closely with
the local economic development organizations to help create
and provide economic opportunities for these individuals,
businesses and other organizations within the MCBAP service
area. The service area consists of Adams, Brown, Gallia, Highland,
Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Pike, Ross, Scioto and Vinton Counties.
The
MCBAP Program is funded by the Ohio Department of Development,
Division of Minority Business Affairs.
